Ep. 6: Zali refuses to re-enter the tunnel while Moss betrays the pack after rescuing Hige.

Toboe tends to Kiba as Tsume sends Hige for food. Zali recalls a past failed attempt to reach Paradise through a tunnel filled with toxic gas that killed most of his pack. Cole suggests trying again now that the machines are dead, but Zali refuses. Kiba reveals he survived a fire that destroyed his original pack, though he does not answer Tsume about his other wounds. Hige is captured by humans and knocked out by Moss to appear as a stray dog. Toboe alerts the group, who find Zali being attacked by Moss and two others. Zali stops them from helping him, then aids in rescuing Hige and entering the tunnel. He declines to join them, believing he cannot reach Paradise. Meanwhile, Hubb reads the Book of the Moon at Cher’s apartment. Quent plans to leave the city after noticing the wolves are gone. Hubb shows Quent the book at a bar, but Quent provides only vague answers before departing.
