Ep. 8: Cheza sings wolves to sleep while a mysterious Hanabito warns of destruction.
Cheza and the wolves descend from the mountain, where her song silences the bickering Tsume and Kiba. The next day, Toboe and Hige shop for supplies in town and are stalked by an old woman who reveals herself as a Hanabito with red eyes like Cheza. She claims to be an imperfect Flower Maiden who escaped Darcia's castle and warns Cheza that traveling with the wolves brings ruin. Cheza insists they seek Paradise, a destination unknown to the wolves. Cher uses her radar to find the tree, but Kiba drops his disguise to confirm her suspicions. After escaping the city, Cheza confirms the wolves' desire for her to stay. They return to the tree to extend the Hanabito's life, but she refuses, satisfied to have met a true Flower Maiden before dying. Cheza mourns her loss. Meanwhile, Quent and Blue reach the aerial city.
