Ep. 11: The Curtain Rises on Each Stage, and the Festival is Festivaling Its Very Best
Aired on June 14, 2013

11
Hachiman and Yui visit Yukino, where Yui hopes for more reliance. Hachiman challenges the committee’s avoidance tactics by proposing a festival theme based on wordplay that highlights their slacking. Though met with disdain, Yukino understands his intent to expose their excuses. Haruno notes Hachiman is now an enemy, while Yukino assigns him excessive work to motivate the group. During the festival, Minami suffers stage fright during her speech. Hachiman oversees Hina’s play, which becomes a major success. Later, Yui brings Hachiman lunch, leading to an awkward moment where he misunderstands her indirect invitation. Meanwhile, Minami feels useless and isolates herself in the bathroom, depressed by her lack of contribution to the event.
