Shizuka nominates Hachiman as the male representative for class 2F, while Hayama selects Minami Sagami as the female representative. Minami volunteers to serve as committee chair to foster personal growth and asks Yukino to assist as vice-president. Yukino proves more efficient at managing logistics than Minami, who prefers a relaxed approach to festival preparation. This difference in philosophy causes over half the committee to abandon their duties, leaving the remaining members with excessive paperwork. Hachiman deflects criticism from Hayato regarding Yukino’s heavy workload by blaming the absent members. Minami subsequently transfers her responsibilities to Yukino to help other classes. Burdened by the volume of administrative tasks, Yukino takes the work home and misses school the next day.
