While night fishing with coworker Takayuki, Yuusuke visits a vending machine and meets an old man speaking of a place of unlimited freedom. Returning to the pier, Yuusuke hears Takayuki recount how a beautiful woman once invited him to such a luxurious realm for a year. As Takayuki begs to return, a woman emerges from the water. Takayuki eagerly asks to bring Yuusuke, but Yuusuke watches in horror as Takayuki rapidly ages into an old man. The narrative concludes with an elderly Yuusuke standing at the pier, obsessively muttering about his desire to return to that mysterious place.
