Ep. 7: A punk band hires unsettling bassist Mr. Rooster, whose mysterious shadow-inhaling actions lead Mikio to suspect paranormal death rituals.

A small-town punk band recruits a strange bassist named Mr. Rooster, whose behavior deeply unsettles bandmate Mikio. Rooster frequently zones out without explanation, yet elderly residents thank him for "showing the way" without clarifying the meaning. The mere thought of him causes physical exhaustion. During a recording session, Mikio struggles to stay awake and suspects supernatural involvement. While performing, he watches Rooster inhale a shadow before losing consciousness. In his daze, Mikio accuses Rooster of being an angel of death. Rooster claims that witnesses must join the dead, summoning a crowd of souls to escort Mikio. Terrified, Mikio agrees to keep Rooster's identity secret. Rooster then wakes him, revealing they are back in the studio. Mikio never determines if the vision was real or seeks further answers about Rooster.
