Fujiko experiences pain during a cake outing with Yawara, leading to a hospital visit that reveals she is not in labor. Shinnosuke returns from Paris and misinterprets seeing Yawara at the OBGYN, assuming she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Yawara notices K. Inokuma traveling with Sayaka, who had stolen client reservations, leading Yawara to suspect Kojiro is training her rival. Sayaka challenges Yawara on TV, claiming to have finished her European judo tour. Yawara questions Shinnosuke about Kojiro's involvement, but he lies. She later spots a man resembling Kojiro in the broadcast footage and identifies him eating oden at a street vendor. Yawara calls out to him, but he walks away without acknowledging her presence.
