Kaiba attacks the Mirror Knights, but they defend each other by sacrificing their shields. Yugi encourages the Pharaoh to attack, assuring him they will be fine. Meanwhile, the second seal increases Dartz's Life Points, making him more difficult to defeat. The Pharaoh plays weak moves and passes his turn. Rafael arrives, and Dartz reveals he caused the boat crash on the day Rafael survived. Dartz exploits the darkness in Rafael's heart, causing him to lose control of Guardian Eatos. The monster self-destructs, allowing the Seal of Orichalcos to take Rafael's soul.
