Dartz utilizes the third Orichalcos seal to negate effects targeting his monsters. Kaiba summons Mirror Force Dragon using the Fang of Critias to destroy Dartz's field, but Kyutora’s destruction allows Dartz to summon the invincible shields Dexia and Aristoros via Orichalcos Shunoros. Kaiba’s Life Points reach 0, prompting him to activate Wish of Final Effort to transfer his Life Points to Yami before his soul is captured by the Orichalcos. With Kaiba’s soul taken, the Leviathan shakes the world and nears revival. Dartz incapacitates Tristan, Téa, and Mokuba, then recounts his first encounter with Yami Yugi as Yami prepares to duel alone.
