Bakura confronts the priests, who are overwhelmed by his spirit beast Diabound. The Pharaoh intervenes by summoning Obelisk the Tormentor, creating an even standoff. Diabound possesses enhanced power stolen from Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon during a previous duel. Simultaneously, Shadi assists Yugi and his friends in entering the Millennium Puzzle using the Millennium Key. They seek a path into the Pharaoh's memories to reach the memory world he has entered.
