Bakura's Diabound clashes with the Pharaoh's Obelisk in a battle of equal power, forcing Bakura to withdraw. Mana, a magician and childhood friend of the Pharaoh, arrives to visit the palace. Meanwhile, Mahad chooses to protect the former Pharaoh's tomb, ignoring Priest Isis's visions regarding his destiny. Mahad's forces engage Bakura's minions in combat, while Mahad himself becomes trapped alongside Bandit Bakura.
