Mana is devastated by the loss of her master. Priest Isis clarifies that he has transformed into the Dark Magician and will eventually return with enhanced magical abilities. Meanwhile, Priests Seto and Shadi venture into the city to locate individuals possessing powerful spirit beasts. During this search, Seto meets Kisara, a young girl with white hair and blue eyes who is rejected by the townspeople. In a separate location, Shadi leads Yugi and his companions to a doorway that opens into the Memory World of the Pharaoh's past, where they begin their search for the Pharaoh.
