Setsuko Yasumara explains the harsh realities of hospitalization to a feverish Touko as Rinko catches up. The two Yume Tsukai face Haru's nightmare, which exceeds their combat abilities. Rinko struggles with frustration while fighting alone, forcing Touko to devise a new strategy. Touko utilizes Hajime Tachibana, a Kinyousei Yume Tsukai, as a crucial resource to approach Haru. While Rinko acts as a diversion, Hajime befriends Haru and uncovers the core issue. Touko, now recovered from her cold, uses data from Haru's collaborative prologue with her parents to determine the next steps. After the nightmare is conquered, Haru understands her father's injunction against troubling Setsuko, realizing she has no choice in whether she sees him.
