A routine dinner at the Kisaragi residence shifts from Mayumi’s test score celebration to an unexpected zoo outing, obscuring Hajime’s cooking skills. While Misako rejects Hajime’s remarks, Mayumi’s father visits Warabe Yuusai Toy Store to investigate a perceived deviant diagnostic. Rinko discovers Mayumi home alone and is unnerved when the girl changes the subject regarding a Daruma doll. After questioning Rinko’s motivations, the nightmare sends her away. Touko and Hajime confirm Rinko’s observations of the disconnect between grandmother Yoriko and her granddaughter’s family. The nightmare is neutralized by a Dream Cyclone discharge, allowing Rinko and Yoriko to depart with a healthier perspective on their respective families.
