Arashi no Yousei

A collection of three short stories features an empress escaping a burning castle and meeting a forest fairy who grants her a wish with hidden consequences. Years later, her daughter, Princess Ruri, is born with an ugly face and must wear a mask. A man learns of Ruri's curse and tries to replace her with his own daughter. Ruri is aided by a ronin and a fairy in reclaiming her throne. In another story, a brave girl named Pako solves mysteries with her dog Moll, despite her fearful older brother being forced to join her. A third tale follows a cloud named Pink who helps those in need, drawing the ire of rainclouds Sir Brown and Sepia.
