Dororo to Hyakkimaru-den

A man during Japan’s Sengoku period sells his son to devils in exchange for power. Forty-eight devils take forty-eight parts of the boy, leaving him near death. With help from a sage and custom prosthetics, the boy, Hyakkimaru, recovers. As an adult, he teams up with a young thief named Dororo to hunt down the devils and reclaim the parts of his body they took.
