Haru ga Kita

A 57-year-old former shinobi named Jiroubei finds himself unemployed after 38 years of service following his mistress's death. A 61-year-old retired constable from Edo named Taroubei has completed 41 years on the job and chooses to retire. Both men, now without responsibilities, commit themselves to a shared purpose. They form an unusual bond as they spend time together in their newfound freedom.
