A woman's single misstep becomes a source of lifelong suffering. In the main story, Ezuko meets Yahagi, along with his wife and son, during a solo trip to Hawaii. Ezuko once had feelings for Yahagi, who was her high school English teacher, until he assaulted her and caused her to become pregnant. After undergoing an abortion, she faced rejection and isolation. Seeking retribution, Ezuko devises a plan to kidnap Yahagi's son.
