Kodoku no Kochou wa Donna Yume wo Miru no ka?

A world overrun by insect-like creatures known as "Armored Bugs" has left much of the planet uninhabitable, as these beings resist all conventional weapons. The only defense against them are the "Noble Butterflies," individuals who host evolved insects different from the Armored Bugs. Odamaki Ayumi, a potential Noble Butterfly, struggles with her inability to awaken her power and faces emotional hardship after her best friend abandons her. During a deadly encounter with Armored Bugs, she nearly dies but, in a final act of defiance, her body transforms into that of a butterfly. Her transformation marks a turning point, as her wings may change the course of the conflict.
