Magdala de Nemure

Three major groups govern a world in balance: the dominant Church, the powerful and wealthy Order of Clausius, and the Guild of Commerce, representing merchants and craftsmen. Kuusla, an alchemist imprisoned for burning a saint's remains, is recruited by the Order of Clausius. He is sent to Grubetti, a town near the front lines, alongside his friend Welland. At a well-equipped workshop in Grubetti, Kuusla meets Urle Fenesis, a nun who identifies herself as a "watchdog."
