A nine-year-old girl named Rutsubo harbors resentment toward her father for leaving her shortly after her birth and refuses to forgive him. When her guardians go on a two-month trip, she is required to stay with him for the first time. While she agrees to live under his roof, she chooses not to communicate with him. The narrative explores the relationship between this quiet, distant child and her father, who seeks to reconnect with her.
