Youkoso Saizensen no Jigoku

The Galleria Empire is close to falling apart after a long, punishing war with the Kingdom of Arcadia. On its most vicious battlefield stands Lina, an eight-year-old who joined up to keep the orphanage that raised her afloat, protesting loudly that this is not the arrangement she agreed to. She cannot fight with a blade or cast spells; her assets are the modest Multilingual Comprehension skill and recollections of an earlier life spent grinding through overtime at an abusive employer and playing strategy simulations. Promised a safe, well-paid post behind the lines, she instead finds herself cast as an enigmatic military tactician whose orders will upend the war, while she asks only for a slice of very sweet cake.
