At Fujiko's request, Lupin steals the Hina dolls given to the US Vice President by the Deputy Prime Minister of Japan. However, the doll heist was a trap laid out by Fujiko and her partner, Barracuda. Inside one of the Hina dolls is proof of a secret military transaction between the US and Japanese government, which they can use to extort both governments.
