To ring in the new year, the whole gang goes on a shrine visit. Miwa is stuck bringing Suzu along, and she spends the whole outing trying to separate Yuu and Miki with little success. Tsutomu helps a cute girl, but fails to get her number, or even her name! Suzu drags Yuu off to talk to her famous father, who suggests that Yuu should study architecture abroad in New York.
