To celebrate the new year, the entire group visits a shrine. Miwa is forced to bring Suzu, who spends the time attempting to separate Yuu and Miki with minimal success. Meanwhile, Tsutomu assists a girl but fails to obtain her name or contact information. Suzu takes Yuu to meet her famous father, who recommends that Yuu study architecture in New York. At the same time, An is already in New York preparing for a risky surgery.
