Casshern escorts a robot singer named Janice, who wants to travel to a rundown city known as the Bazaar in order to sing and bring hope to robot refugees who had been hiding there from the Ruin. Meanwhile, they are being stalked by a band of robots who believe that hope should die in a world full of ruin. They plan to wait until Janice reaches the Bazaar, then massacre everyone.
