Casshern accompanies a robot singer named Janice, who aims to reach the dilapidated city of the Bazaar to perform for robot refugees hiding from the Ruin. They are pursued by a hostile group of robots intent on extinguishing hope in a ruined world, planning to slaughter the refugees upon Janice's arrival. Upon reaching the Bazaar, it is revealed that Janice is also nearing the brink of Ruin. She dedicates a final song to Casshern while he and Friender defend the inhabitants from the attacking killers. This episode highlights the struggle to maintain hope amidst despair and the ultimate sacrifice made to protect others.
