Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri

A portal suddenly appears in Tokyo’s Ginza district, unleashing soldiers and monstrous beings that turn the area into a scene of devastation. The portal links Japan to a foreign world dominated by a warlike empire and filled with supernatural entities. A small JSDF team, led by a soldier with an interest in anime and manga, is dispatched to gather intelligence on the empire, the world, and its inhabitants. Before reaching their objective, they discover a village ravaged by a fire-breathing dragon. They rescue an unconscious elven girl found in a well and decide to alert nearby settlements about the threat. As they travel, they encounter additional female allies with magical abilities and gradually uncover more about the perilous world they’ve entered.
