A crescent-shaped island, Hatsune, is known for its annual blooming of mysterious cherry blossoms. Asakura Junnichi, a student at Kazami Academy, possesses the ability to see others' dreams during sleep and has learned a form of magic from an elderly woman that lets him make sweets. One night, he experiences a dream featuring a childhood friend before being interrupted by his sister, Asakura Nemu, who is not his blood relative but shares a close bond with him. The group includes Amakase Miharu, the academy idol Shirakawa Kotori, and the sisters Mizukoshi Moe and Mako, who enjoy eating nabe on the school roof. Their routine is disrupted when Yoshino Sakura, believed to have moved to America, unexpectedly returns and mentions a childhood promise she intends to fulfill.
