The PoMPoMs go through a crisis after discovering Kanata has been cheering on her own. Megumi confides in Shion and Nodoka before having a conversation with Kanata, who returns to the site where she pulled off her somersault twist. She makes a second attempt, however, this lands her in the hospital as the rain falls. Time passes, and Suzuha leads Megumi to Kanata in the hospital. Megumi tells Kanata that she doesn't have to fly for the sake of her promise. Kanata, claiming the injury is just a small bump, continues to argue with her. Finally, Nodoka sings the song they were working on, and stands out of her wheelchair. Kanata embraces her in the rain after her jump. As the girls reunite, Kanata expresses her desire to continue cheer with PoMPoMs. The music is ready and practice can begin again.
