Ep. 9: Mine seeks revenge while Tatsumi enters a tournament and meets Esdeath

Mine dedicates herself to avenging Sheele and Bulat. Najenda departs to recruit new members, appointing Akame as temporary Night Raid leader. In the Capital, Wave meets fellow Jaegers including Kurome, Seryu, Dr. Stylish, Run, and Bols. Esdeath introduces herself to the group and declares their mission to hunt Empire enemies. At Lubbock's library, the trio discovers Mine is wanted and an Esdeath-sponsored tournament is upcoming. Tatsumi enters disguised as a blacksmith, defeating a muscular opponent without using Incursio. Esdeath becomes infatuated with his skill, shackles him, and takes him to the Palace. Akame and the others debate whether to rescue Tatsumi after learning of his capture.
