Following his rescue by his uncle, Sinbad joins a voyage where a sudden landmass appears. The crew disembarks to cook, ignoring Shera’s caution, only to discover the land is a massive whale. As the beast flees, Sinbad is stranded while Ali seemingly perishes trying to save him. Sinbad and Shera endure a dangerous journey on the whale’s back before being cast into the sea. They spot a nearby island and swim toward it for safety. This narrative adapts the first voyage from the Sinbad the Sailor legends.
