Aired on October 29, 1975

Captain Sinbad and a merchant survive a shipwreck caused by a powerful current that drives their vessel against a rocky cliff. They trek inland and discover a riverbed filled with gems, though they lack a means to leave the island. Sinbad constructs a raft and navigates the river into a cave system, eventually reaching the kingdom of Saranjib. The king, impressed by Sinbad's stories, provides him with gifts and a petition to establish diplomatic relations with Baghdad. This narrative corresponds to the sixth voyage of Sinbad the Sailor.
