Ep. 6: Kou wins the musical duel and accepts a teaching role for the Arakawa residents
Aired on May 10, 2010

Kou defeats Hoshi in a musical contest using his violin against Hoshi's guitar. Despite the loss, Hoshi creates a successful song following his frustration. Kou then attempts to teach the Metal Brothers how to swim, a difficult task complicated by their heavy masks. Observing his efforts, Nino proposes that Kou become a teacher. The Village Chief and the Metal Brothers echo this suggestion, even though they typically disregard his instructions. Intrigued by the prospect of introducing common sense to the Arakawa citizens, Kou agrees to take on the position of a teacher.
