Hoshi, a man with a star-shaped head, observes Nino exiting Kou’s room and pulls Kou into a confessional. He utilizes Sister as a lie detector to extract the truth. Kou admits he has not yet taken Nino on a date, and Hoshi’s mocking reaction encourages Kou to ask her out. Nino, however, lacks a clear understanding of what a date entails. Instead of proceeding with the romantic plan, she chooses to go to the mouth of the river. Her goal is to check if the grass boats she previously crafted have successfully reached the sea, shifting the focus from the romantic interaction to her own project.
