Aired on May 24, 2010

Takai and Shimazaki, employees of Kou, visit him, prompting Kou to ask residents to pretend as staff for a fictional power company beneath the bridge. Nino refuses to act as a secretary, instead announcing she is Kou’s lover, which makes Takai jealous and creeped out, causing him to stay at Kou’s place. Takai and Hoshi question the relationship's authenticity, but Nino surprises everyone, including Kou, by kissing him. Takai leaves relieved, while Hoshi jumps into the river in shock, declaring himself a starfish. Meanwhile, Shimazaki reports her findings to Kou’s father, Seki, who vows to protect the family name from disgrace.
