Ep. 16: Class prepares stuffed animal cafe while Chiyo’s penguin costume draws unexpected crowds
Aired on July 23, 2002

16
As the culture festival nears, the class rejects a haunted house cafe idea in favor of a stuffed animal theme. Chiyo grows anxious over procrastination while Sakaki creates Chiyo-Father inspired hats. Chiyo wears a restrictive penguin costume, drawing mockery from Yukari toward Nyamo. Kimura’s poor advertising drives customers away, but Chiyo and Osaka visit other booths during breaks. Osaka feeds Chiyo at takoyaki and taiyaki stands because her costume limits movement. When they return to their own stall, they are shocked to find it full of customers who were attracted by seeing Chiyo in her penguin outfit at the food booths.
