Nyamo receives a birthday handbag from her class, upsetting Yukari whose birthday was forgotten during spring break. Yukari gets a replacement gift the next day but is interrupted by Kimura before showing it to Nyamo. Tomo aims to join the ICPO, while Chiyo desires an American college, though Osaka frightens her with kidnapping fears. Sakaki calms them by suggesting Chiyo-Father would help. Tomo jokes about Chiyo becoming US President, leading Osaka to imagine a nation of Chiyo lookalikes. Yomi buys sugar-free pork buns. Chiyo introduces Tomo and Yomi to Miruchi and Yuka-chan in their new uniforms. Kaorin becomes class president in Kimura’s class, which displeases her. She reflects on memories with Sakaki. After meeting Kimura’s wife delivering lunch, Kaorin decides to appreciate his positive traits, such as gardening.
