Chiyo invites friends to her summer house, renting a van to avoid Yukari’s car. Tomo loses the key in the woods, leading to a struggle before entering. At the beach, Osaka drifts away on a swim ring, and Sakaki’s sand sculpture is ruined. The group attends a summer festival where Sakaki wins a toy. Nyamo drinks sake to stop Yukari from getting drunk, then explains adult relationships to the girls. The next morning, Chiyo asks Nyamo to clarify her advice, as the others found the information helpful.
