Shun and Skyress arrive in a deserted town where they meet a lonely girl seeking playmates. They engage in tag and kick the can before noticing the sun has not moved. The girl reveals she is alone and initiates a Bakugan battle. Shun gains an early advantage, but Oberus enters the fight, defeating Skyress. Shun realizes the girl resembles his late mother and regrets his mistake. His tear falls on Skyress’s ability card, triggering an evolution into Storm Skyress. The evolved Skyress defeats Oberus. After saying goodbye as the sun sets, Oberus transports Shun to Vestroia to reveal recent events. Skyress expresses confidence in their support. Oberus then returns Shun and Skyress to the other brawlers, designating them as new Ventus soldiers.
