Dan and Barodius engage Dharak, with Drago destroying the Exokor. Dragonoid Colossus warns that Drago must win despite being evenly matched. Nurzak plans to split up with Fabia and Ren with Mason to surprise Kazarina, who has already lost the element of surprise. Dragonoid Colossus notes Drago has not reached true evolution. Drago worries about protecting the Sacred Orb, but Dan encourages him. Drago unlocks a new ability and wins. Dan demands Jake's return, which Barodius grants. Jake, under Gundalian hypnosis, attacks and knocks out Dan. Meanwhile, Nurzak and Fabia approach Kazarina's lab, where she and Stoica confront them.
