Kazarina identifies DNA similarities between Drago and Dharak, enabling Dharak's evolution after capturing Dan and Drago. Fabia alerts Ren and Mason that Jesse, Lena, and Zenet are hypnotized, leading them to Nurzak's secret lair. Shun and Marucho search for the captives; Shun locates Dan but flees from Lumagrowl. Marucho witnesses Jake instructing Gundalian soldiers on defeating brawlers and challenges him to a battle. Despite Marucho's attempts to connect with his friend, the fight ends with the floor cracking and Marucho falling. Shun arrives just in time to save Marucho, and they proceed to reunite with the others.
