With TRAP's ranking continuing to decline, Mashiro and Takagi contemplate implementing significant changes to their work. However, Miura intervenes, advising them that drastic measures are unnecessary. Instead, he suggests they concentrate on producing a sincere detective manga. Although Takagi initially wishes to argue against this approach, Mashiro successfully persuades him to accept the advice. Mashiro explains that adhering to this strategy offers their best opportunity to improve their standing in the rankings. The duo ultimately agrees to abandon their previous plans in favor of this more authentic creative direction, aiming to regain their position through dedication to the genre rather than gimmicks.
