Seeking revenge for the All-Starz's loss, the White Tigers confront the Neo Borg in the Tournament. Kai acts arrogantly toward Yuri and the others, causing their disgust. He insists on fighting alone and defeats every White Tigers Bit Beast, sparing Kevin’s Galmon because Kevin advised against the battle. The Bladebreakers raid the abbey to save Kai. Takao discovers the truth about Kai’s past in Biovolt’s secret lab after Boris gloated about it. Despite Takao’s refusal to abandon his friend, Kai surrenders his old Dranzer and orders him to leave. Crying, Takao presents the beyblade to his teammates and declares that Kai is finished for them.
