Kai returns Black Dranzer to Boris, damaging the enemy headquarters. Voltaire orders the Neo Borg to capture the stolen Bit Beasts from the blade. Kai informs the Bladebreakers that Biovolt Corporation is creating war-ready Bit Beasts to take over the world. Kaichou, Ryu, and Mr. Kinomiya join them. Mr. Kinomiya explains he was hired by Kaichou for archaeological research on Bit Beasts. Boris approached him, claiming to design Bit Beasts from real creature DNA. Russian police linked Boris to Voltaire, president of Biovolt and head of a secret criminal organization. Mr. Kinomiya contacted Kaichou. Kai reveals Voltaire is his grandfather, explaining his upbringing in the Abbey. The Neo Borg then attack the BBA bus. Max fights Ian, but Sergei and another team member join in. Sergei knocks Max out and steals Draciel.
