EP 121Yami and William discover the Wizard King's youth due to stored magic, while Asta faces parliamentary danger.
Feb 11, 2020Yami and William find the Wizard King alive due to 13 years stored in a magic tool in case he was ever killed, rendering his body of a 13 year old. Julius orders William to help with the recovery effort. Julius reveals to Yami, Asta, Mimosa, Noelle, and Secre that his younger body has far less magic, meaning he has less influence over the selfish nobles and will be unable to protect the kingdom from attack. He also worries Asta may die; as his power is demonic and since it was a devil who attacked the kingdom, the Magic Parliament will probably blame Asta then execute him. Secre confirms that Asta's demon form as well as the horns on her head could be used as evidence they had contact with devils. Mimosa explains the Magic Parliament are royals and nobles who create laws and preside over trials for serious crimes. Meanwhile the Clover King credits Sekke for saving him, despite it being an accident. They are attacked by anti-royalists hoping to assassinate the king amid the confusion, but they are saved by Damnatio Kira, Chairman of the Magic Parliament. Asta and Secre are asked to testify before the Parliament, but when they arrive they are arrested by Damnatio who demands evidence of the devil behind the attack. When Asta can provide none Damnatio decides to simply charge the people possessed by the elves as normal criminals. Damnatio brings in Marie, Gauche's sister, and orders her immediately executed for her actions during the battle, forcing Asta to assume his demon form to save her, revealing himself to the entire Parliament, just as Damnatio wanted him to.

Feb 18, 2020The Magic Parliament demands Asta’s execution, threatening Marie, Father Orsi, Sister Lily, and church orphans. Henry’s Raging Black Bull destroys the Parliament, prompting the Black Bulls to demand Asta’s freedom or face war. Yami refuses to abandon Secre, granting her a team robe. When Damnatio uses Scale Magic to shrink spells, Asta nullifies it with the Demon Destroyer Sword. Fuegoleon and Nozel intervene, revealing the Wizard King ordered the Black Bulls to investigate the devil race to prove Asta’s innocence. Forced to comply, Damnatio warns of execution if they fail. Nozel places a tracking spell on Asta. Later, Damnatio advises Julius to trust the Bulls, warning of potential judgment if the devil crisis worsens. A tearful Marx then forces Julius to begin paperwork to restore the kingdom.

He exploited royal greed to orchestrate a massacre using Light Magic stored in a tool made from elf stones. This process created a five leaf Grimoire, forcing Lumiere to kill the transformed Licht. Secre sealed Zagred and saved Lumiere by turning him into a statue, but she became an Anti-bird due to forbidden magic. She later found hope sensing a power capable of defeating Zagred on the day Asta and Yuno were left at the orphanage.

Mar 3, 2020Secre recalls watching Asta and Yuno mature while Patry was reincarnated as William Vangeance, unaware this served Zagred’s scheme. Secre witnessed the Eye of the Midnight Sun attack various locations for magic stones, including the Underwater Temple and the Capital City, leading to the elves' resurrection. The Apostles of Sephira opened the Shadow Palace to secure their return but summoned Zagred, who revealed he cast the spell to create another 5 leaf Grimoire. Upon Zagred's return, Secre regained her human form and freed Lumiere from a statue. The Black Bulls and other knights battled Zagred until Asta killed him. Secre then bid farewell to Lumiere and began a new life with her Black Bulls friends.

Magna and Luck fight again, while Gauche, Grey, and Gordon are attacked by the beasts. Finral, Charmy, and Vanessa are also targeted after getting distracted by wine and food. Magna and Luck face the beasts after exhausting their magic. Yami is disturbed on the toilet but realizes the beasts missed him, remembering he found them as babies after their parents were hunted by bored nobles. Once the beasts are re-established as pets, Henry completes the new base, including a wine fountain for Vanessa, a large kitchen for Charmy, and a giant communal bedroom per Gordon’s request, which others reject. Yami’s bedroom is moved into the beasts' cage. Finally, Henry reconstructs the base exactly as it was so they can research the devils and prove Asta’s innocence.

Mimosa explains the kingdom is rich in mana and ruled by a powerful Queen. She secures invitations for herself, Asta, Noelle, and Finral, with Secre hiding in bird form. Upon arrival, they learn the Queen intends to steal Asta’s devil power. Gaja, a Spirit Guardian, guides them through a river flowing uphill within the Queen’s massive Mana Zone. He notes that every queen for 1200 years has pacted with Undine. Asta is kidnapped and taken to the palace, where Undine ranks his devil form at the weak 9th Stage. Noelle is 1st Stage, while Mimosa and Finral are 3rd Stage. Gaja, likely Zero Stage, fights the others. Noelle, Mimosa, and Finral land a powerful attack, allowing Secre to free Asta, who then attacks a nearby ki presence.

Loropechika clarifies that Heart mages cannot kill devils, but Clover mages using unnatural magic like Yami, Asta, and Secre can. After Julius agrees to Clover’s assistance, Loropechika reveals Megicula is stronger than Zagred and siphoning power to invade all kingdoms. Following the King’s departure, the Captains discuss Megicula, the Spade Kingdom, and Loropechika’s war plans, ordering six months of training. Some Captains wish to resign due to guilt over past possession, but Julius forbids it. Damnatio delays decisions on Asta until after the war. Julius pardons Gueldre in exchange for profit generation to cover repair costs, halving all Captains' salaries. Jack and Yami, horrified by the pay cut, lose their entire salaries to Vangeance in a poker game.

Their leader, Mayer, explains they turned to crime due to poverty following the Midnight Sun’s destruction. Dazu and her friend Bou Nokude join Kabwe’s Devil Banishers, a group seeking revenge against devil’s servants and those formerly possessed by elf souls. They kidnap Marie, Gauche’s sister, injuring Neige in the process. The group then attacks the Bulls hideout, knocking Asta and Secre unconscious with gas. When Noelle arrives, they escape with only Secre. Noelle tends to Asta while Gauche discovers Marie is missing.

Damnatio reveals that several subordinates are Banishers involved in the kidnapping, providing information about Kabwe. The Captains deduce that the Banishers intend to execute Secre and Marie publicly to gain commoner support, potentially sparking a revolution against the government, nobles, and Magic Knights. This threat must be prevented to maintain their chances against Megicula and the Spade Kingdom. In Lehart, a message announces the imminent public execution of two devil’s servants.
