He easily overpowers Randall with fire. Fuegoleon remembers that Patry spared him after severing his arm and stealing his magic stone, but he keeps this secret for now. Meanwhile, at Golden Dawn headquarters, members including Langris are possessed by Latry. Finral is violently woken from his coma by Yami and decides to join the fight to save Langris.

Mereoleona suffers severe injuries from Rhya and unleashes Purgatory, a spell causing blue flames that incapacitates her while failing to defeat the elves. As the elves prepare a team spell to kill her, Asta and Zora arrive. Asta had devised a plan where Zora traps five spells, doubling their power, shoots them at Asta, and deflects them back to quadruple the force. Yuno saves Asta and Mimosa as elves move the floating dungeon toward the city. Asta wakes up and meets unpossessed knights Nozel, En, and Kirsch. Nozel, secretly amazed Asta survived where Mereoleona was unconscious, learns about other elves and initially decides the possessed knights must be killed to protect the kingdom. Noelle argues that Luck held Latry back, proving the knights fight the elf souls, and insists on saving them. Nozel agrees, and they follow the dungeon over Hage village. An elf appears and injures Father Orsi. Nozel allows Asta and Yuno to protect their home but insists Noelle accompany him, noting his improved attitude. Sister Lily fights the elf, and Asta and Yuno save orphan Nash, determined to protect their family.

Licht uses the remaining elves' power to activate the Demon Dweller Sword's true potential to destroy Zagred. However, Zagred's heart survives and regenerates, proving that magic from their dimension cannot kill him. Asta deduces that the Demon Slayer Sword holds an ultimate power that must be unlocked using a unique force.

Yami aims his Dimension Slash using only ki detection. After Asta runs out of anti-magic, Yami casts his largest Dimension Slash, the Equinox, cutting Zagred in half. Secse uses sealing magic to help Asta recover, recalling his past victories and declaring he will become the next Wizard King. Inspired by her faith, Asta resummons anti-magic and finally cuts Zagred's heart in half.
EP 120Asta Ends Elf Reincarnations While Lumiere Passes and Rades Captures Patry's Soul
Feb 4, 2020As Zagred dies, Liebe gloats within Asta's Grimoire. Rades and Valtos save everyone from the consuming Shadow Palace via portals, revealing elves still attacking the city. Patry explains Vangeance's World Tree Magic can defeat them. Asta nullifies reincarnation, waking Vangeance, who thanks Patry for ending his suffering. Vangeance combines his magic with Licht to connect elf souls to the tree. Asta strikes the tree, ending reincarnations so souls pass on, except Vetto, Rhya, and Fana, who choose to live in their new artificial bodies. Yuno realizes the elf inside him was Licht, Tetia's unborn son, and Licht thanks Yuno. Rades captures Patry's soul, reanimating it in Licht's cloned body to atone for his crimes, which Patry accepts. William asks Yami to take him to the Wizard King's body. Asta introduces Lumiere and Secre. Lumiere sees his ideal world becoming reality, then runs out of magic. As his stone body crumbles, he asks Secre to protect the Kingdom and live her own life.
