Ep. 47: Black Jack and Pinoko survive a plane crash in a blizzard while a violinist loses his fingers retrieving his instrument.

Black Jack and Pinoko survive a plane crash landing in a blizzard, stranded near a crevice. Famous violinist Morozov calms panicked passengers with music, but the captain orders a trek to a barn 400km away without luggage. Morozov ties his violin to himself, refusing to leave it behind. When a passenger’s dropped flask knocks Pinoko toward the edge, Morozov dives to save her, losing his violin in the process. Despite Black Jack’s warnings about frostbite, Morozov ventures out at night to retrieve it. Black Jack finds him unconscious with frostbitten fingers. Lacking surgical tools, Black Jack amputates the damaged digits back at the barn. Morozov reflects that both he and Black Jack now understand the danger of clinging too tightly to their most precious possessions.
