Balalaika recalls her failed Olympic shooting ambitions and subsequent rise in the Russian Mafia. Meanwhile, Yukio severs ties with her friend Maki to lead a counterattack on Hotel Moscow. Revy and Rock approach Yukio to discuss withdrawing from the conflict. However, upon returning home, Yukio is kidnapped by Chaka and his men. Rock arrives at the scene and convinces Ginji to allow Revy to assist in the rescue operation. When questioned about his motives, Rock explains that he cannot tolerate Yukio’s decision to abandon a normal life for the criminal underworld. This sequence highlights the diverging paths of the characters, from Balalaika’s historical reflections to the immediate danger facing the new Washimine Group leader.
