Balalaika rejects his proposal for joint action, vowing to handle the threat independently. After two of her staff are murdered, Watsap identifies the culprits as twin children. A massive bounty is issued, drawing numerous hunters to the city. Eda from the Ripoff Church proposes that she and Revy participate in the manhunt. At their shelter, the twins’ sponsors witness the pair brutally torturing a captive subordinate. Simultaneously, Balalaika questions Rock about the specific linguistic patterns used by the twins to aid the investigation.

Balalaika and Chang ally to hunt Romanian twins Hansel and Gretel
Oct 11, 2006Rock identifies the twins as Romanian, prompting Balalaika to request snuff films from strip club owner Rowan. She reveals to Chang that the twins, known as Hansel and Gretel, were victims of Nicolae Ceauşescu’s regime sold into black market exploitation. Chang agrees to an alliance after reviewing documents, and Balalaika mobilizes her Visotoniki veterans from Afghanistan. The twins kill Verrocchio at his headquarters and exchange fire with Chang upon exiting. They attempt to evade bounty hunters using a decoy car but are ultimately cornered by Eda and Revy.

Rock vents his frustration at Benny about the inevitability of injustice. Upon reaching the getaway point, Gretel is killed by a Hotel Moscow hired gun. Rock observes that she died peacefully while looking at the sky.

Oct 25, 2006Jane, a counterfeiter for a Florida crime syndicate, escapes after missing a deadline and seeks entry at the Church of Violence where Eda and Revy are drinking. Eda initially refuses her, but when mafia members attack the church, Eda and Revy fight back. They are assisted by apprentice priest Rico and Yolanda, who help drive the attackers away. Jane demonstrates her counterfeiting abilities, leading Eda to send her to a motel. Meanwhile, Russel of the Florida mafia recruits bounty hunters in Roanapur, including Shenhua and Sawyer the Cleaner. The hunters criticize Russel’s inexperience and cowboy style before leaving. Finally, Rock, Eda, and Revy arrive at Jane’s motel.

The Black Lagoon is unavailable because Dutch and Benny took it on a job, forcing the group to wait in the dock house. They are soon surrounded and attacked by bounty hunters. As Shenhua and Sawyer arrive, Revy laments their bad luck. When the building is set on fire, Rock and Jane flee to the roof. Meanwhile, Dutch speeds back to port, and Revy prepares a trap for Shenhua.

Benny hacks Jane's counterfeiting files, and she kisses him. Lotton, surviving with a bulletproof vest, offers to help Shenhua get medical care.

Revy tells Rock her name is Yukio. The next day, Washimine leader Tsugio Bando asks Ginji for help, recalling his feared katana skills. Ginji refuses due to Bando's lack of justice. Meanwhile, Rock visits his parents' home, and Revy plays gunmen with local children.

This sequence highlights the diverging paths of the characters, from Balalaika’s historical reflections to the immediate danger facing the new Washimine Group leader.

Discovering that Hotel Moscow is using electric company vans to execute their attacks, Yukio and Ginji use a similar van to rob a bank to point the police towards the Hotel Moscow vans. Following the robbery, Yukio muses about traveling to Roanapur with Ginji to start a yakuza group there. Revy and Rock meet with Balalaika, and Rock asks Balalaika to end the assault on the Washimine Group. Balalaika responds by holding Rock at gunpoint, but she releases Rock after he claims he is a villain like her. In a park near his parents' house, Rock admits to Revy that he returned to Japan to sever his ties with his former life, and that he has found the resolve to do so.

Revy intercepts the van, leading to a fight between her and Ginji while Rock pleads with Yukio. Rock realizes Yukio was coerced into crime, and she admits her desire for a normal life. This hesitation allows Revy to kill Ginji. Overwhelmed by guilt, Yukio apologizes to Rock and takes her own life with Ginji's katana. Back in Roanapur, Balalaika sends Rock a photo of Yukio, prompting Rock to reflect on his twilight existence.
